How is unGeeked different from other social media conferences?  First, we are not a conference or seminar. unGeeked is a 3-day retreat. The goal of a retreat is to create bonds, exchange best practices, ideas and challenges. And in order to effectively accomplish this, we do more than bring you both nationally and internationally recognized e’lites “keynoters,” who are mavens, practitioners and well known authors who will engage with you on all aspects of the internal and external brand.  We also invite businesses from the geographic region where the retreat is being held to share the stage with the e’lites.   We recognized that by inviting “regionally recognized” mavens, practitioners and self-made authors to get involved, creates “community,” among retreat attendees, speakers and e’lites.

unGeeked goes beyond being social. We also try to “give-give” to social causes.

unGeeked also gives a portion of our ROI to charities. We not only get the community involved during our 3-day retreats, we also give a portion of our ROI to charity/causes. This way, the unGeeked community is giving back as a whole to help a cause such as hunger, Breast Cancer, or homelessness. Our belief in community goes beyond networking to get business. But also building community so others can benefit from our learning. We select one charity each year.
